Check the ingredients:

Get yourself a fresh cabbage, ginger, garlic, apple, pear, chili powder, salt, and monosodium glutamate.

Now follow the simple steps below:

First things first, grab the cabbage and peel off the outer layer. After washing it properly, sprinkle some salt evenly on the inside and outside of the cabbage. Now marinate it for half a day.
Psst! Beware, the spicy cabbage should not come in contact with oil from the beginning to the end.

Once you marinate the cabbage for half a day, squeeze out all the water.

Now, let's get our preparation on! Take ginger, garlic, apple, and pear.

Mince the ginger, garlic, apples, and pears. Use 1/3 or half of apples and pears.

Time to add some kick! Mix chili powder, salt, and monosodium glutamate according to your preference for spiciness. Keep in mind that the quantity of chili powder depends on the freshness of the chili powder. Add an appropriate amount of cold water and mix it with chili powder, salt, and MSG.

Pour the minced ginger, garlic, apple, and pear into the chili noodles, and give it a good stir.

Now the fun part! Let's start pickling! Spread the adjusted chili paste on the cabbage, starting from the innermost layer, inside and out.

Take a container with a cover, and ensure it's squeaky clean. There must be no oil residue. If you don't have a cover, you can use plastic wrap to seal it.

After 3-5 days, voila! Success!
